About the Author
Emily Pearson is passionate about awakening groups’ and individuals’ collective power and potential to solve complex problems and enable positive change.
In 2011 Emily’s life changed forever after finding herself in the heart of Christchurch, New Zealand, during a destructive 6.3 magnitude earthquake.
Inspired by the innovation and ingenuity of the post-quake volunteer groups, Emily left behind her career as a Marketing Executive in pursuit of learning more about and engineering ‘collaboration’ with a desire to help make the world a better place.
For the past ten years, now based in Sydney, Emily has worked with hundreds of industry leaders applying best practice collaborative design methodologies, delivering collaborative workshops for government, not-for-profit organisations and Fortune 100 companies.
Emily’s desire is to help lead positive change in the world. Through her studies in psychology, human consciousness, and collective intelligence, she believes humanity can create a better, more sustainable future.
