About the Author
Maneesha Benedict is a speaker, advocate, educator and leader. As a wife and mother, she is passionate about women’s and youth empowerment and inspires them to fulfil their purpose. She grew up in Sydney, Australia, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and a Master’s in Arts.
Now residing in Sri Lanka, Maneesha is the Managing Director of KeyNote Women Speakers, which promotes and supports women speakers globally. She also founded Gen.u.in, a platform dedicated to removing the stigma surrounding the topic of sex. Its mission is to empower young people to make healthy decisions regarding relationships, sexuality and life.
Maneesha also has a children’s book coming out soon to help parents start the conversation about sex. She believes parents are the first educators of a child’s life and aspires to equip them to be able to guide their children in this hyper-sexualised world.
