Mona Lootah is an accomplished individual with an impressive career and educational background. Her journey began with a major in English literature and languages from UAE University in Al Ain. After graduating in 1990, she immediately started her career as an English teacher, serving in this role for over a decade.
Mona’s dedication and hard work led to a promotion in 2006, when she was appointed to head the private education sector in the Dubai Education Zone. This role allowed her to oversee various aspects of private education and make significant contributions towards improving its quality. In recognition of her leadership skills and work ethic, Mona was later transferred to a Private Office in the Dubai Ruler’s Court, where she managed several projects for HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, including those for the Dubai Healthcare City.
Throughout her 28-year career, Mona has proven herself to be a highly respected and dedicated professional. Her ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure has earned her the admiration of her peers. Despite retiring from active service in 2018, Mona continues to share her stories and experiences to inspire others. Her educational background and extensive work with top government officials and complex projects have made her a true role model for young professionals in the UAE.
Mona takes great pride in her contributions to the establishment of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University at Dubai Healthcare City, as well as her work in developing and planning various health and educational facilities, school strategies, and cultural projects for all age groups.
