Deepika Deshpande is a financial services industry leader, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Singapore-based cross-border payments fintech, SingX. Her prior corporate experience spans over 26 years at Citi Asia Pacific, where she honed her expertise in financial operations. Deepika’s academic credentials include an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) and a PhD from Singapore Management University (SMU) in Strategy and International Business.

As a post-doctoral research fellow at SMU’s Web3 Centre, she tracks the latest developments in the Web3 space, creates awareness about Web3 through blogs and articles, and contributes to research initiatives in this innovative field.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Deepika is deeply committed to mentoring women in the workplace, striving to inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders.
