Her Excellency Ambassador Kateryna Zelenko is a seasoned career diplomat who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2002. Prior to her accreditation to Singapore, she served as Spokesperson of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and Deputy Director of the Communications and Public Diplomacy Department.

Ambassador Zelenko’s international postings include serving at the Ukrainian Embassy in Austria and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna. From 2007 to 2011 and again from 2014 to 2018, she was posted at the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany, focusing on culture, press, and public diplomacy.

Upon her return to Kyiv in 2018, she worked in the Political Department before her appointment as Chief Spokesperson of the Ministry. In 2021, she was also designated as non-resident Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.

Ambassador Zelenko is a dedicated advocate for women’s empowerment, actively promoting gender equality through mentorship programs, diplomatic forums, and public diplomacy initiatives that highlight the importance of women’s leadership within Ukraine and internationally. Her commitment has helped advance female representation in diplomacy and public affairs.
