About the Author
Anna Weinrank was born and raised in Estonia during the Soviet era, a time when the Baltic nation remained under communist rule. Estonia’s struggle for independence created dangerous instability, amidst this turbulent period, Anna fled her homeland and sought refuge in the United States, where she would go on to build her adult life and career.
With a passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges, Anna established herself as a psychotherapist, developing a private practice where she has guided countless individuals toward healing and personal growth. Her journey from political refugee to mental health professional reflects her resilience and deep commitment to supporting others through difficult transitions.
Today, Anna calls Bali home, where she continues her therapeutic work while dedicating herself to another heartfelt mission: dog rescue. Her involvement in saving and rehabilitating stray and abandoned dogs has become a central part of her life.
