Kim O’Keeffe spent 28 years building and leading a successful service and training business, growing it to a national level while helping many women achieve success in life and business. Despite her business achievements, Kim said her greatest joy was playing a role in others achieving success.

Driven by a desire to make a difference in her community, Kim entered Local Government in 2016. She served on Greater Shepparton City Council for six years, including four years as Mayor of Greater Shepparton City Council before being elected to the Victorian Parliament in 2022.

While many know Kim as a successful businesswomen and politician, her journey has been shaped by significant adversity. Growing up in a family that experienced disadvantage and leaving home at just 15 years of age, she understands firsthand the challenges many people face. These experiences fuelled her determination to create a better future and inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others overcome barriers and seize opportunities.

Known for her a passion, authenticity and compassionate leadership, it is no surprise that Kim is having a remarkable impact on others.

Kim’s leadership has gained international recognition, being featured in “The DNA of Great Leaders” by Canadian author Ian McCormack, a book highlighting the qualities and experiences of exceptional leaders from around the world.

Kim said she was incredibly proud to host the Australian Women Economic Forum in Shepparton in 2025, and a first to be held in regional Victorian, bringing together women leaders from across the globe. Kim is also the inaugural Ambassador for the Australian Women Council.

Kim is passionate about empowering women to grow, learn, connect and thrive. Today, Kim continues to lead with passion, purpose, heart, and a deep commitment to serve her community.
