About the Author
Mrs. Purviz R. Shroff, MH is well known for her numerous contributions to children and their welfare.
She is Patron of Mother’s Choice, and President of the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association.
Together with her husband the Late Rusy M. Shroff, BBS, MBE, she has supported many local charitable organizations such as Women Helping Women Hong Kong, Hong Kong Cancer Fund, The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, Riding for the Disabled Association, Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children, Lifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation, Youth Diabetes Action, Save the Children Hong Kong, and many more. They have also set up scholarships and bursaries at various institutions.
Mrs. Purviz R. Shroff, MH also served as the Permanent Managing Director of Ruttonjee Estates Continuation Limited for many years.
