About the Author
Joyce Teng is Senior Director in the Singapore Children’s Society, overseeing Community Engagement & Partnerships and Corporate Communications. Together with her amazing colleagues, they are responsible for donor and volunteer recruitment and management, and the organisation’s external and internal communications goals.
Prior to joining Children’s Society in 2020, Joyce had 20 years of experience in the maritime industry, in various roles ranging from marketing to corporate communications, and business development. In her last role in an international maritime NGO, Joyce played a key role in maintaining dialogues with regional maritime administrations and supporting members and associate members based in Asia-Pacific.
When she is not working, Joyce cherishes her time with her husband of 19 years and two Shih Tzus aka grumpy grannies.
