About the Author
Millie Yong Boon Hwei is a seasoned professional in the IT industry, with over 25 years of experience. For the past 20 years, she has worked with both local and multinational corporations, assisting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and financial services institutions (FSIs) on their digital transformation journeys and innovation goals.
As the Director of Solution Sales at Microsoft, Millie assists SMBs and FSIs in adopting cloud computing to enhance productivity and customer experiences. Previously at IBM, she led teams in developing resilient systems for financial organisations.
Millie is dedicated to diversity, inclusion, and community engagement, supporting initiatives for individuals with disabilities and underprivileged communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also actively involved with organisations like Lead Women and Women in Tech Malaysia.
Recently, she received the Asia Women Leaders Award 2024 and the prestigious Global Woman Influence Award 2024, recognising her impactful leadership in the IT industry.
