About the Author
Netra Ranjan Prabhu is currently working as a Tech Lead with a global bank. Her journey from an accountant to working for global technology companies for over 18 years, and then moving to a global bank, has been an exciting one, taking a road less travelled and forging new pathways for women in finance and technology. She has extensive experience leading complex finance transformation projects across multiple industries, including telecom, power, insurance, airlines, and banking, with large global companies based in India, the U.S., Switzerland, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, to name a few.
For her ground-breaking journey in the world of fintech, she won the Professional Woman Achiever Award in 2018 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In 2021, she was a finalist in the Channel Asia Women in ICT Awards in Singapore and in the Women in Tech Excellence Awards in the U.K. In 2024, she was recognised as the winner of the Global Women of Influence Awards in Singapore.
Netra is also very passionate about giving back to society and has been supporting a non-profit organisation in their endeavours.
