About the Author
Olive Dyer is an 11-year-old originally from Australia, now living in Bali. She loves rock climbing, sewing, and swimming, but her deepest connection is with nature. When there is no one to play with at home, nature feels like her closest friend. It calms her when she is angry, annoyed, or sad — and in nature, she feels free to be herself.
This special bond is why Olive chose to write her chapter on plastic pollution. When nature is hurt, she feels hurt too. She hopes that after reading her chapter, others will be inspired to make positive changes through their actions.
