About the Author
StellaRita Awelle Nwachukwu Asogwa is an accomplished Igbo entrepreneur and philanthropist from Nkwerre LGA in Imo State, Nigeria. With two decades of experience in the food and fashion industries, she has made a significant impact in these sectors both locally and internationally. A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University and holding an MBA from the Business School Netherlands, StellaRita is a Fellow of the International Institute of Strategy and Development (FIISD), the Chartered Institute of Arts Professionals (FCIAP), and Brand Management of Nigeria (FBMN).
Her designs in fashion have been showcased at runway events in Nigeria, the UK, Paris, and South Africa. Through her StellaRita Awelle Humanitarian Foundation, an accredited member of the World Peace Organisation, she supports schools and local communities by providing essential resources to women, widows, and youth. She also received the Global Women of Influence Award 2024 for her significant contribution to society.
