Lilian Gowers has over 30 years of experience supporting people to achieve their goals, reach their life aspirations and perform to a high standard. As a coach, counsellor and therapist, Lilian connects readily with people to identify their core values and empowers them to take steps leading them to fulfil life and work outcomes.
Lilian has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She worked in the public sector in hospitals and in the community as a therapist, and as a counsellor in the private sector, not for profit organizations and charitable agencies, and had a private practice. When she was a child in Trinidad and Tobago, she first became aware of her spirituality. As an adult, she experienced personal healing and transformation from her childhood trauma.
Currently, Lilian delivers coaching to carers in a national program designed to help build their resilience and self-empowerment skills.
Lilian Gowers is the co-author of the book #MyVoice - Stories of Transformation and Purpose by Women of Substance (Vol-II). Her chapter is "Light and Shadow."
