Rasyida Paddy describes herself as a mum, millennial and marketer, “in equal parts”.
Coming from a working-class family, Rasyida is a firm believer in the power of education as a great social leveller. She never believed that coming from an ethnic minority or being a woman and a mother should stop her from pursuing a path to success and claiming a social narrative that empowers the communities she represents. She is the youngest of three children and the first college-educated member of her family.
Professionally, Rasyida is an enterprise technology marketing manager with a background in strategic communications and content marketing. She is a proud mother of two girls and considers herself a feminist. Outside of work, Rasyida is passionate about causes that support female representation in the digital economy and spends her time volunteering for organisations whose missions align with this ideal.
