Sri Martuti

About the Author

Sri Martuti, known as Judy, started her career in 1998 as a Quality Control and Finance Staff at a national company in Tangerang Indonesia, then a teacher in 2000 and radio announcer in 2004. She became an Indonesian Migrant Worker in Hong Kong in 2009.

 

Judy has been leading and actively engaged in community services for Indonesian Migrant Workers in Hong Kong. She is also the founder of several Indonesian Migrant Worker Groups/Communities engaged in social, education, entrepreneurship and empowerment of Migrant Workers through skills training.

 

Since 2013, Judy has been active in social and educational activities for Indonesian Migrant Workers together with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia Hong Kong Macau, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and several other Indonesian Migrant Worker communities.

 

She is currently active as the Coordinator of the Hong Kong Cilacap Community Forum, a trainer in the Public Speaking Class of the Mandiri Hong Kong’s Creative Learning Group and a PathFinders Ambassador.

Sri Martuti is the co-author of the book #MyVoice - Journeys of Survival, Empowerment and Self-Compassion (Vol-IV). Her chapter is "Rise And Fight: Live To Keep Others Alive".
