With 25 years of experience in mainstream education and the charity sector, Victoria Matthews-Patel has worked in person-centred professions throughout her career. She has always been a passionate champion of people with low self-worth or who feel like they don’t belong.
After years of ill mental and physical health, Victoria had a breakdown in 2018. She was determined not to leave any stone unturned in her recovery. Through her connection and deep healing work with incredible women in the therapy, holistic and coaching worlds, Victoria is on a life-changing and enriching healing journey.
Victoria discovered her true vocation during her recovery and is now a trained CoActive coach and runs her own business, With Compassion, that offers online coaching, self-compassion programmes and peer support groups. She believes that self-compassion is the key to true self-acceptance and self-worth.
Victoria Matthews-Patel is the co-author of the book #MyVoice - Journeys of Survival, Empowerment and Self-Compassion (Vol-IV). Her chapter is "From Self-Loathing to Self-Compassion".
